CoreAge Rx
Is CoreAge Rx Legit? An Honest Look
You should know before you read another word that this site is published by CoreAge Rx. That makes it a first-party source, not an independent review — so rather than ask you to take our word for anything, this page is written so you can check it.

| Prescribers are US board-certified and state-licensed | Ask for your prescriber's name and licence number, then check your state medical board's public lookup. |

Every row in that table is something you can confirm without us. That is deliberate. A provider that cannot survive being checked is not one you should use — including this one.
How the service actually works
It is the standard telehealth process, described in full in How Telehealth Weight Loss Actually Works: an online health assessment, review by a physician licensed in your state, a prescription if appropriate, dispensing by a licensed pharmacy, delivery to your door, and follow-up. There is no consultation fee, no membership fee, shipping is free, and there is no long-term contract.
The medication is compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide. That distinction is genuinely important and we have written the honest version of it — including what compounded medication is *not* — in Compounded GLP-1 Medication, Explained.
What patients actually complain about
A page titled 'complaints' that lists no complaints is worthless. These are the themes that come up most, and what we do about them.
Shipping delays
The most common complaint. Cold-chain shipments are weather- and carrier-sensitive, and delays happen. We ship 2-day and replace anything that arrives compromised — but we cannot promise a carrier never fails.
Side effects in the first weeks
Usually a titration issue rather than a product issue. Holding the dose resolves most of it — see Managing GLP-1 Side Effects. It is still an unpleasant fortnight for some people.
Response times
Some patients tell us follow-up messages took longer than they expected. It is a fair criticism and it is where we have put the most effort.
Being declined
Not everyone is approved, and people are understandably frustrated. But a programme that approves everyone is not screening anyone — the contraindications in The Complete Guide to GLP-1 Medications exist for good reasons.
Cancellation confusion
There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Where this comes up it is usually a billing-date misunderstanding — worth confirming your renewal date at signup.
Slow results early on
Month one is an adaptation dose and produces little. This disappoints people who expected otherwise, which is why The GLP-1 Results Timeline, Month by Month exists.

What we do not claim
- We do not claim compounded medication is identical to brand-name products. Same active ingredient, different regulatory status. Compounded GLP-1 Medication, Explained sets out the difference.
- We do not claim results beyond the published trials. The real figures — 14.9% and 20.9% — are in The Complete Guide to GLP-1 Medications, and anyone quoting better averages is inventing them.
- We do not claim this is a cure. Stopping without a plan generally leads to regain, as Maintenance: Keeping the Weight Off explains at length.
- We do not claim to replace your doctor. Keep your primary care physician and tell them what you are taking.
- We do not claim everyone qualifies. Some people should not take these medications at all.
Signs of a provider worth avoiding
Hold us to this list too. The fuller version — fourteen questions to put to any provider, including us — is in How to Choose a GLP-1 Telehealth Provider.
- No prescription required, or a questionnaire nobody appears to read.
- No named prescriber, or no state licensure you can verify.
- No named pharmacy.
- Prices that only become clear after payment details are entered.
- Pressure to prepay six months at a discount expiring today.
- 'Research grade' or 'not for human use' peptides. These are not medication.
- Claims of weight loss well beyond what the trials found.
How to check us independently
- Better Business Bureau — search the company name for complaint history and responses.
- Your state medical board — verify any prescriber's licence by name.
- Your state board of pharmacy — verify the dispensing pharmacy's licence.
- FDA MedWatch — the federal adverse event reporting system.
- Reddit and independent forums — unfiltered, unmoderated by us, and worth reading precisely because we have no control over them.
Common questions
Is CoreAge Rx a scam?
No. It is a real business with a verifiable address and phone number, licensed prescribers and licensed dispensing pharmacies. Every one of those is checkable using the sources above — and we would rather you did check.
Why does this site look like a review site?
It is a site about complaints and reviews of CoreAge Rx, published by CoreAge Rx. We disclose that in the footer of every page and on our about page. If that bothers you, that is a reasonable reaction and the independent sources listed above are the right next stop.
Are the reviews on this site real?
Patient reviews are collected from calls, texts, emails and forms, and may be summarised or shortened for clarity. Some are on the home page and more in CoreAge Rx Success Stories. They are selected, as testimonials on any company's website are.
What if I have a complaint?
Call +1-307-405-1638 or email support@coreagerx.com, and use our contact page. If we do not resolve it, the BBB and your state attorney general exist for exactly that reason.
